Enterprise-Grade Fibre Optic Solutions for Any Environment

A fibre optic cable consists of a bundle of glass threads, each less than a tenth as thick as a human hair, capable of transmitting messages transformed into light waves. Fibre has many advantages over traditional metal cabling — most notably, a much greater bandwidth and superior range over copper wires.

There are two primary types: Single Mode and Multimode. Fibre optic cabling is extensively used in telecommunications due to its large bandwidth and superior range, making it the infrastructure backbone for modern businesses.

Communications Unlimited offers a full range of fibre optic installation solutions tailored to your needs, preference, and budget — serving South Florida since 1984.

Fibre Optic Fusion Splicing

Fiber Optic Testing
Splicing & Testing

Extend, Repair, and Test Without Replacing

Fusion Splicing: We offer the ability to splice your existing fibre optic cable to extend or relocate runs without the need to re-pull the entire cable length. We use fusion splice machines to terminate new installations achieving minimal signal loss at every joint.

OTDR Testing: We can test your existing cabling for faulty or suspected broken fibre and locate the exact point of failure along the cable run, enabling a corrective splice and removing the need for new cabling.

Out-of-Hours Installations: We offer fibre optic surveys and installations any day of the week at any time to suit the client's schedule, minimising disruption and downtime for your business.
